Dan Corbin graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois with Bachelors and Masters degrees in accounting. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1982. He is a Board Certified Family Law attorney, CPA and a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserves. Dan has over 32 years of experience in Family Law, Probate and Civil Litigation. He has served as Mayor of Killeen, State Commander of The American Legion, President of the Bell County Bar Association and is the current State Judge Advocate for the American Legion.
James Stapler has been licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas since 1999. He has successfully represented hundreds of clients in Family and Criminal Courts throughout Texas. James is admitted to practice in all State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, including Fort Hood. He has won jury trials in Bell, Coryell & Lampasas Counties. Most of his practice is made up of Family and Criminal Law, including divorce, custody, child support, CPS, as well as all misdemeanors and felonies. James also handles probate, guardianship and personal injury cases. Mr. Stapler said, "My goal is to get the right resolution for each client whether that means seeking an amicable resolution or fighting tooth and nail in court. Ashley Clapper graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University School of Law, formerly Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in the state of Texas and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. Since 2011, Ashley has been practicing law in the Bell County area with a focus on family, civil litigation and probate and is an active member of the Bell County Young Lawyer's Association where she has served as President, President-elect, and board member. Ashley has been named Young Lawyer of the Year for 2016 and 2017 by the Bell County Bar Association. Ms. Clapper is currently serving on the Bell County Bar Association as Director, 2018-2019 Leadership State Bar of Texas, and Texas Bar Foundation. She is a graduate of Belton High School and remains a committed member of the community and church in Bell County.
Rebecca Wheeler has been licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas since 1998. Rebecca is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She has successfully represented hundreds of clients in Family Courts in Texas; primarily concentrating on central Texas including Bell, Williamson, Travis, Hays, and Bastrop counties. Mrs. Wheeler is admitted to practice in all State Courts. She has won Jury trials in Travis County. Rebecca has participated in hundreds of mediations and is a certified mediator in general mediation and family law mediation. Mrs. Wheeler's practice is exclusive to Family Law, including divorce, custody, child support, paternity suits, and adoptions. Her goal is to assist my clients through the challenges of family law litigation with patience, diligence, the ability to negotiate when appropriate, and the skill to advocate in the courtroom when necessary.
